Crisel is a New Jersey and New York State licensed Occupational Therapist.
She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Scranton. Crisel’s experience includes working in various school-based settings and private practice settings with children ages 2-21. She currently works at a pre-school for children with disabilities and supervises a team of certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs). She has worked with clients in the following areas: Autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay, learning disability, ADHD, Tourette syndrome, and anxiety disorders. Crisel has experience in improving her clients’ fine motor skills, sensory processing skills, ADLs, play skills, bilateral coordination, strengthening and motor planning. She also has experience with handwriting strategies from programs such as Handwriting without tears and Size Matters Handwriting Program. Crisel meets each client where they are at and creates individualized, client-centered treatment plans to help her clients achieve their goals.
