Jessica has experience working with the pediatric population aging from pre-K to 8th grade and strives to facilitate effective, efficient, and functional communication skills through treatment of articulation and phonology, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also has experience in working with the adult population in an in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, where she treated patients with language, cognitive, and swallowing deficits.
Jessica believes prioritizing communication between all clients and clients’ families can facilitate optimal carryover/generalization results outside of structured therapy sessions. She utilizes a client-centered approach, which focuses on the client’s current capabilities and seeks to work onwards from that point. Jessica currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, a Speech Language Specialist (SLS) Certificate, and is licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of New Jersey.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys hosting friends/family, cooking, practicing yoga, going for a walk, or reading an intriguing book.
