Nicole puts the “fun” in fundamentals, and believes the best kind of learning happens when it doesn’t feel like work.

Nicole received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Monmouth University in 2018, and her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Vermont in 2013. She has had experience working with children and adults who present with a wide range of communication disorders including: articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Aphasia, as well as those who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Her professional experience comes from her time spent in public elementary schools in Bergen County, and her time working with children with ASD in a specialized school in Bergen County, as well as a rehabilitation center for individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Nicole has been a part of the Garden State Speech family since 2019.
Nicole loves using simple, interactive activities to encourage communication in speech-language therapy. Her therapy activities and sessions are engaging, even for the most difficult of kids to reach, and she can easily adapt her methods to target multiple goals and use them with a variety of clients to meet their individual needs.
